Makau Learning Library
The Makau Learning Library (MLL) offers a comprehensive library of our video-based, self-paced training. Library courses have been adapted to FLASH to help make installation, management and updating much easier, while making delivery to each machine quicker. With the Learning Library, system administrators no longer have to load, upgrade or manage thin clients on each machine that views the training. There are no special drivers or plug-ins required except a Web Browser and a FLASH player which can be downloaded essentially free. Your entire organization can now have Makau training literally at their fingertips with the greatest of ease and flexibility.
The Makau Learning Library allows multiple users on your network simultaneous access to the training they need, anytime they need it. This cost-effective, timesaving training vehicle is perfect for employee workgroups as well as training centers. The Makau Learning Library is supplied with Makau’s own robust and comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS). Our LMS allows administration of new user enrollment, allows customization of each individual user’s courses, provides reports on users and courses, and allows administration of amount of time each student has to complete each individual course and much more. Makau Learning Appliance
The Makau Learning Appliance (MLA) offers the Makau Learning Library pre-loaded on a Network Attach Storage (NAS) device. With the Learning Appliance, not only do the system administrators no longer have to load, upgrade or manage thin clients on each machine, they no longer have to allocate precious server resources, nor load new and cumbersome programs and services. Best of all installation is quickly done and they no longer have to bring down the entire network to add the Makau Learning Appliance.
The Makau Learning Appliance is a cost-effective stable platform for your training needs and does not add the need or cost of expanding or upgrading your existing network infrastructure. This appliance has been designed with ease of use in mind both for the students and the network or system administrators. The Makau Learning Appliance is also supplied with Makau’s own robust and comprehensive Learning Management System (LMS). While many NAS devices will work with the library pre-loaded, Makau has tested and certified the Iomega line of NAS storage devices to be compatible with the Makau Learning Library*.
