National Negotiation Expert Speaks in Utah
Lee Miller Brings NegotiationPlus for Women to New Makau Facility
Provo, Utah, August 9, 2005 Makau Corporation announces live training sessions with noted author and speaker, Lee Miller, starting August 23 through August 25 at Makau’s new training facility in Orem, Utah. Lee’s visit coincides with his national speaking tour, NegotiationPlus for Women. This one day course is based on groundbreaking research from the best-selling book A Woman’s Guide to Successful Negotiating, How to Convince, Collaborate and Create Your Way to Agreement (McGraw Hill), selected by Atlanta Woman Magazine as one of the 50 best books for professional women and featured on ABC’s Good Morning America.
To kick off the first of a long series of training events at their new facility, Makau has opened the seminar to the public and is subsidizing the cost of the program so that the cost is half the cost of seeing Lee on tour. Lee’s three day visit will include two training seminars on negotiating and one on customer service.

Lee E. Miller is a consultant, corporate trainer, executive coach and speaker. A graduate of Harvard Law School and former head of human resources at TV Guide and USA Networks, he is the Managing Director of NegotiationPlus.com where he advises organizations on influence strategies in negotiating, sales and customer service as well as on compensation. He is an Adjunct Professor of Management at Seton Hall University, where he teaches MBA courses in Negotiating, Managerial Decision Making and Human Resources Management. In 2003 he received the Stillman School’s Award for Teaching Excellence. He has written a monthly career column for Monster.com.
