Training Provider Expands Online Presence
Makau Announces the Launch of Expanded Web Services
Provo, Utah, June 27, 2005 Makau Corporation announces an expanded web presence to enhance user training experience. The expanded site, www.makaucorp.com, provides users immediate access to online training, new course announcements, training information based on the type of user, and a free e-book on how to choose training. The website launches come in response to months of customer feedback research.
Makaucorp.com, now allows users immediate access to Makau’s Online Learning Portal through the home page. The learning portal, www.makaucorp.net, is an online Learning Library that allows users to take video-rich training over the internet. With a new login on home page, Makau hopes to make online learning easier than ever. Customers can login to courses they’ve already purchased or browse and buy new courses for immediate online access.
“What’s new?” is a question Makau’s training specialists hear daily. With the addition of Flash™ announcements of new courses on the home page, Makau hopes to keep customers aware of the growth of the Makau Learning Library.
“Because we release new courses every week, the easy-to-edit nature of the web is a perfect way to announce them,” said Lou Eastman, Makau’s Web Design Manager. “We also continue to send e-mail announcements to customers.”
In its customer research, Makau found that customer’s wanted quick access to information based on the type of organization they represented. Makau has organized quick informational pages for individuals, corporations, educational institutions, government, international organizations, and resellers. By seeing solutions that have proven themselves in a particular setting, organizations can refine and speed up their decision making.
To further help people choose the training that best fits them, Makau has added a free ebook, Know the Facts: A Guide to Matching Training Needs to Solutions, to their home page. The book is in PDF format and available for download at no cost.
